I got my Savage 338 Win Mag online at Cabelas. My friend (Earl) said his favorite caliber is the 270 Win he got at a NWTF banquet last season.
I ordered my Savage Sierra in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Couderay, Hawaii. There is a new edition of my new Savage Sierra with the black walnut chambered in 338 Win Mag and 270 Win. I got my Savage 270 Win last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Couderay.
My favorite rifle is everything made by Savage. I like the the 338 Win Mag best for deer hunting. My Dad's favorite caliber for the average hunter I would say the 270 Win for best caliber and the 338 Win Mag for the best cartridge. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 270 Win from Bass Pro Shops in Couderay.
