My favorite caliber is probably the .303 British Enfield from Bass Pro Shops in Ryegate. I like the the 357 Magnum best for deer hunting.

I like the Savage Model 12 a lot because the rife its cambered in more than anything else. My brother's favorite gun that I *want* is a .303 British Enfield lever-action rifle like in the Western movies. My mom's favorite rifle is my new Savage Model 12 with the sugar maple chambered in 357 Magnum and .303 British Enfield.

One issue is if you're a hunter, the ring or the lanyard on the Savage Model 12 can snag on a branch or even your own clothing and possibly pop your receiver cover off.
